Entertainment vs. Learning

Which is more important… your need to learn… or your need to be entertained? Before you rush to respond, please note that you are not allowed to answer that question with words. You must answer it with your actual behavior over the past 12 months.

Compare the amount of time & money that you have invested in entertainment (watching television, listening to music, playing one game or another) with the time that you invested in learning something productive (reading or listening to non-fiction books, watching great thinkers & leaders on the internet, writing, teaching, studying, improving a specific professional skill, etc.)

Entertainment is an essential part of life… and so is Learning. Which is more important to you?
